We dance weekly year-round except for cancellations announced in advance in case of weather, holidays, etc. Instruction is by Bill Wadlinger, with occasional guest teachers–and occasional live music. Upstairs Downstairs Docent Tour at Ebenezer Maxwell Mansion7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

200 W. Tulpehocken St.Step back in time to discover the challenges and enjoyments of Victorian women across all socio-economic levels. Guests will be greeted at the door by a Victorian maid who will conduct the downstairs tour. Upstairs, the lady of the house will guide visitors. Guests will be invited to choose a pin featuring a Victorian woman’s portrait. Everyone from suffragists to recipe book writers, and from prostitutes to medical doctors will be featured. Each guest will go home with a cookie recipe and cookie taken from a 19th century cookbook. Display boards featuring Victorian era fashions and menus enhance this walking tour. Champagne and light comestibles will be served. Cost: $20

The Teen Center located directly across from the Chestnut Hill East Train station is open every Friday night from 7:30 to 10:30 pm for 12-15 year olds. The Teen Center is now open for High School Students on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm. The Center is staffed by a young adult who has his/her clearances. Special Events include: Games, Movies, Drumming, Nintendo Wii, Live music and Open Mic nights. Some Fridays are just TGIF nights to hang with friends. There is free access to the Teen Center with a $25 yearly membership. All teens are admitted with a $5 guest fee charge.

Each tour is designed specifically to highlight a particular section of the arboretum, however, there is no itinerary. It is recommended that those who are touring for the first time select the general tour of the arboretum to get an over-all idea of what the gardens have to offer. The Urban Athletics classes are a 45 minute high-intensity blend of bodyweight exercises, speed and agility training, dumbbell & kettlebell training and more. Each class is lead by an instructor, taking you through your workout step-by-step, just like personal training without the added cost. This way you don’t have to worry about what you’re workout will be each day, nor do you have to question if you’re doing an exercise incorrectly. There is always a coach on staff to lead you through each workout. The cost is $20.
