Springside first graders became beekeepers as they learned about the honeybee from beekeeper Dr. Vince Aloyo. Dr. Aloyo, a professor in the Pharmacology Department at Drexel University, College of Medicine, has been sharing his hobby with students at Springside and CHA through the Coordinate Program for the past 12 years. This year, during his visit, he also spoke about pain medications to Upper School students in the new Coordinate Pharmacology elective.  Pictured is Mia Capoferri holding a smoker and wearing a beekeeper’s hat.
