pm) and the primary function will be to assist in the coordination of daily programs for the Activities Department.
The Activities Aide reports to the Director of Activities and will be responsible for: Gathering residents for various programs and events. Accompanying residents on outside trips i.e. shopping, concerts and other types of entertainment. Exercise, arts & crafts, parties, music and games. Other duties as related.

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree, 5 years of development experience, & knowledge of long term care & aging issues are required. The successful candidate also must have demonstrated superior oral & written communication skills, successful grant research & writing, & strong database & interpersonal skills. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of a large suburban medical practice with a total of eight physicians and approximately 35 staff members. You will ensure a safe, efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality patient care environment. You will also recruit, hire, and oversee the training and orientation for all clinical and clerical staff. Together with the practice physicians, you will provide ongoing supervison and evaluation for clerical support staff.
Administrative responsibilities include: tracking monthly clinical and financial statistics, managing the electronic payroll system, overseeing Epic billing and collection functions, maximizing patient flow, and optimizing the work environment to facilitate open communications and professional excellence.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of three years medical office management and billing experience, strong supervisory skills, and excellent communication skills. Must demonstrate a strong understanding of practice management/medical office procedures.
