THE VISION IS ZERO WASTE FORUM 9 a.m. to Noon at the Academy of Natural Sciences, 19th Street and Benjamin Franklin Parkway The Chestnut Hill Community Association and Weaver’s Way Cooperative will receive an award from the Recycling Alliance of Philadelphia at this forum; Chestnut Hill and Mt. Airy residents are invited to attend. ROXY BREW FEST 1-5 p.m..  at the Roxborough Area YMCA Athletic Field, Participants will be able to taste and savor the flavors of more than thirty craft/micro brews from around the world.  All proceeds will benefit the YMCA’s Strong Kids Campaign, which provides financial assistance to local children and families who can not afford to participate in YMCA programs and memberships. “Brew Fest” is open only to persons age 21 or above, with tickets costing $30 for drinking participants.  The event is free for designated drivers (again age 21 and above). Environmental Art Installations The Schuylkill Center For Environmental Education site located on the corner of Port Royal Ave. and Hagy’s Mill Road in Roxborough, will feature work by Jennifer Chapman, Keiko Miyamori, Kara Rennert, and Marisha Simons, and is guest curated by Warren Angle.
