The following crimes are from March 22 to March 28 (missing are reports from March 27 and 28).

March 23. Valley Green Road. Complainant states that an unknown person stole six credit cards out of her wallet, which was inside the trunk of a 2000 Honda Civic. Charges were made on three credit cards.

March 25. 7800 block Winston Road., Complainant states that an unknown person smashed the right side passenger window of her car and ripped out the radio from the dashboard.

March 25. 7600 block Huron Street. Complainant states that between March 20 and March 25, an unknown person stole copper piping and one grate from property.

March 26. Unit block Summit Street. Complainant states that between 2 and 4:15 p.m., an unknown person gained entry to property and stole money and a check from the top of a dresser in the bedroom. Check was canceled.

March 26. W. Bells Mill Road. Complainant states that between 3:50 and 5:30 p.m. on March 24, an unknown person entered a gray 2000 Hyundai Elantra in an unknown manner and stole money and two credit cards. Complainant further states that $2800 was charged on the cards.

Summary — Five crimes for period: one burglary, one theft and three thefts from vehicles.

Remember that most trunk locks can be opened from inside of the vehicle, so be careful what you keep in your trunk. If credit cards are stolen, cancel immediately with credit card company. Remember to always lock your car.
