The following crimes are from the week of April 5 to April 11, 2009.

April 5. Unit block W. Mermaid Lane. Complainant states that an unknown person broke the driver’s side window of a 2006 Volvo. Entry does not appear to have been made.

April 6. 7700 block Ardleigh Street. Between 7 and 10:20 p.m., an unknown person entered her home and took pillow case off bed and used it to carry two antique clocks. Nothing else appears to be missing at this time.

April 6. 8100 block Germantown Ave. Owner states that an unknown male entered property through rear bathroom window on third floor at approximately 4:40 a.m. The black male is on video from security cameras. Taken was a small safe containing money, money from another safe and payroll checks for employees out of a drawer. Male, 6’ tall wearing black shoes, tan khakis, black jacket, black gloves and hood.

April 6. 300 E. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant states that between 6:45 a.m. and 6:12 p.m., an unknown person broke out the passenger side window and attempted to take radio from a 1998 Toyota Camry.

April 7. 8300 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states she was in getting an x-ray taken of chest and leg and when she returned her bifocal glasses were missing.

April 9. 800 block Wolcott Drive. Complainant states that an unknown person entered her vehicle in an unknown manner and stole two credit cards.

April 11. Valley Green Road and Wolcott Drive. Complainant states that an unknown person tried to pry open the passenger side door of a blue 1999 Dodge Durango and damaged lock. Nothing was taken.

April 11. Valley Green Road and Wolcott Drive. Complainant states that between 2:30 and 6:30 p.m., an unknown person forced entry to a green GMC Yukon’s side window and stole a Blue Tooth device. 

April 11. 700 block Glengary Road. Complainant states he left location secure at 3 p.m. on April 10 and when he returned at 9 a.m. on April 11, he found front door open with pry marks on door. Nothing appeared to be missing at this time.

Summary — Nine crimes for week: three burglaries, one theft, five thefts from vehicles.
