A GREAT DAY ON THE GREAT ROAD 1-4 p.m. in Vernon Park near the corner of Germantown Avenue and Chelten Avenue.  Join Germantown’s 14 historic and cultural landmarks as they celebrate the history and community of Philadelphia’s historic northwest through music, food, costumed reenactors and activities for the family. Featured performers include jazz musicians Melange Trio.  Also on the schedule are costumed reenactors Milicent Sparks, who will portray African-American abolitionist Harriet Tubman, and Noah Lewis, who interprets the life of Ned Hector a free Black Revolutionary War-era soldier. Chestnut Hill Hospital is holding Golden Yoga Classes every Friday 2:30-3:30 p.m. in the Lea Auditorium at the Chestnut Hill Hospital, 8835 Germantown Ave. Golden Yoga is Classical Yoga, adapted by the SKY Foundation, to accommodate those who have difficulty getting up and down from the floor. Church of the Annunciation is forming an Early Childhood Music Class for children ages four and five, which will begin on Thursday September 18. The classes will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. at The Church of the Annunciation at Carpenter Lane and Lincoln Drive in Mt. Airy, and Will continue for 15 sessions. Morris Arboretum Wellness Walks 10:30 a.m. at Morris Arboretum, 100 Northwester Ave. every Saturday November 1 through March 28. Walkers meet at the Visitors Center wearing comfortable clothing and shoes, ready to walk two mile-long loops on the paved paths.  Guides point out some of the Arboretum’s specimen trees and other distinctive features along the way. Homework Help Available at the  Roxborough  Free Library- The Free Library of Philadelphia provides free homework help at all of its branches.  An adult is available, each afternoon, to help all school-aged kids with their work.  Program hours at the Roxborough branch are:  Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm; Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm.  Special activities are available most Wednesdays and Fridays.  No sign-up is required, just stop in.
