The following crimes are from the week of May 10 to May 16, 2009.

May 10. 8400 block St. Martin’s Lane. Between 9 p.m. on May 9 and 8:30 a.m. on May 10, an unknown person pried open the front door and stole one antique jewelry box with assorted jewelry, a wallet, credit cards, a passport, a driver’s license and money.

May 11. 8100 block Stenton Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person stole a Pennsylvania tag HBA6764 from a 1996 Oldsmobile Delta.

May 12. Unit block Northwestern Ave. Between 3 p.m. on May 11 and 3:50 p.m. on May 12, an unknown person pulled open the sun roof of a green 1998 Toyota Corolla and stole money, a Visa card and a social security card.

May 13. Valley Green Road. Complainant states that an unknown person broke the passenger-side window and pried open the passenger-side door of a turquoise Honda. Nothing was taken.

May 15. 7700 block Stenton Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person pried open the driver’s side door and stole one car radio, one iPod, one school bag with various items, books, paperwork and clothing.

May 15. 7700 block Crittenden St. Between 2:30 a.m. and 9:15 a.m., an unknown person broke the passenger side window and bent the frame of a white 2000 Mitsubishi. It is unknown if anything was taken at the time.

May 16. 8300 block Shawnee St. Between 5:30 p.m. and 11 p.m., an unknown person gained entry through an unlocked rear door and stole a pair of gold and diamond earrings, a glass jewelry box containing an assortment of custom jewelry and a 22” Samsung television.

May 15. 100 block Hilltop Road. Between 9 a.m. on May 8 and 9 a.m. on May 15, an unknown person broke the hall window and stole a Cluova clock and a pen and pencil set.

Summary — Eight crimes for week: three burglaries and five thefts from vehicles.
