The following  crimes are from the week of July 12 to July 18, 2009.

July 12. Unit block W. Chestnut Hill Ave. Complainant states that between 10:30 p.m. on July 11 and 7:25 a.m. on July 12, an unknown person entered an unattached garage and stole one 22” flat screen HDTV and one silver 26” trek bike, Serial No. WTV119C1309D. Another bike was left behind by offender.

July 13. 8200 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person broke the right front window of a gray 2009 Toyota Scion and stole a Tom Tom navigational system and an iPod Touch. Reported at 12 a.m.

July 13. 8400 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that between 7 and 8:30 a.m., an unknown person broke the rear passenger side window of a black 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer and stole a pocketbook containing money, blank checks, a driver’s license, a Social Security card and two MAC cards.

July 13. 8800 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that a known person was arrested for aggravated assault for twisting the arm of complainant. Offender was transported to NWDD for processing.

July 13. 7700 block Crittenden St. Complainant states that offender came into store and stole numerous products, then fled store walking southbound on Crittenden Street. Taken was Oil of Olay soap and body wash. Offender, black male, 36 – 40 years old, 6’ – 6’2” tall, beard, wearing a blue striped shirt, black pants, sunglasses, a dark baseball cap, and carrying a black backpack. Occurred at 11 a.m.

July 16. Unit block Hilltop  Road. Complainant states that between July 15 and July 16, an unknown person kicked in the rear basement door and stole jewelry, silver and other assorted items.

July 16. 7700 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that a black male attempted to leave store with items and set off the theft alarm. When stopped, offender claimed he had nothing. Taken were 10 Fusion razors. Offender fled southbound on Germantown Avenue. Male, 41 to 45 years old, wearing a white McNabb jersey, blue jeans, white sneakers and a white hat.

July 17. 8100 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that between 3 p.m. on July 15 and 2:30 p.m. on July 17, an unknown person entered safe and stole money.

Summary — Eight crimes for week: one burglary, one aggravated assault, four thefts and two thefts from vehicles.
