Last Friday night’s rainstorms put an end to several days of muggy weather and on Saturday rowers from Mount St. Joseph Academy and Springside School enjoyed a refreshing breeze and temperatures in the low 80’s as they participate


Rowing: Mount hangs with Hallahan

Although Mount St. Joseph Academy was playing with a skeleton crew in last Tuesday’s game in the Roxborough summer league, the Magic still managed to rattle a larger, more experienced squad from John W. Hallahan High School. Trailing 37-26 with six-and-a-half minutes to go, the Mounties closed within a single point of the Mickey Mice before Hallahan sealed a 43-39 victory.
