
Thomas W. Samph, son of Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Samph of Chestnut Hill, graduated magna cum laude from Boston University with a B.S. in Journalism. This fall he will be teaching English in Orleans, France.

CH’s Montco league 13’s make it to the finals
The 13 year old Chestnut Hill “C” team (CHYSC) had a strong showing in the Montco Youth Baseball League playoffs last week before falling to Liberty Bell in the championship game. The team, made up from players from Chestnut Hill, Wyndmoor and Oreland, banged out 43 runs over a three game stretch, reaching the finals with an 18-12 victory over Southampton.
