![]() The following crimes are from the week of August 15 to August 21, 2010. Aug. 15. 8200 block Ardleigh Street. Between 8 p.m. on Aug. 14 and 8 a.m. on Aug. 15, an unknown person stole a black Giant mountain bike from front porch. Aug. 15. Unit block E. Chestnut Hill Avenue. Complainant states that offender broke front window while complainant was in house. Offender is ex-boyfriend of complainant and did not have permission to be in house. Recovered from offender’s pocket was a Handycam camcorder. Complainant states that two watches, one Chopard and one Tudor, are missing. Male was arrested and transported to NWD. Occurred at 1:16 p.m. Aug. 20. 7700 block Crittenden Street. Complainant states that a male entered store and while complainant was busy, male stole complainant’s cell phone in a white case from counter top. Black male, 6” tall, wearing a black shirt and jean shorts. Reported at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 21. 100 block W. Moreland Avenue. Complainant states that an unknown black male was inside an unlocked 2002 Buick LeSabre when complainant yelled and offender fled. Nothing was taken. Reported at 5:43 a.m. Summary — Five crimes for week: two burglaries, two thefts and one theft from vehicle. |
