CUSTOMER SERVICE COORDINATOR The Chestnut Hill Local is looking for a new team member with a customer-friendly attitude and strong organizational skills to join us as a Customer Service Coordinator. The Local provides hyper-local community news to Chestnut Hill, Mt. Airy and the surrounding communities. We are a small organization where every team member plays an important roles in our success. We are looking for a person who can make a positive contribution in this position with a variety of customer-facing roles. Responsibilities include: Accounts Receivables - processing credit card payments and checks for advertising and subscriptions including posting payments and electronic bank deposits. Classified Advertising - assisting inbound customers with the placement of classified ads, including helping create effective ads, handling payments and renewals and coordinating with production to create the final classified pages for the week. General Administrative Support - answering phones, assisting with mailings and other support tasks as needed. The successful candidate will: ~ be customer-friendly and conscientious ~ have strong computer skills including experience with Excel ~ be detail oriented and efficient ~ be able to work independently after training Position is part time - 25 hours per week.
