OFFICE ASSISTANT The Chestnut Hill Local is seeking a part-time office assistant who will enjoy the pace of working in a weekly newspaper where every day can bring a new adventure! Primary responsibility will be in the AR/AP aspect of our business. AR duties will include accepting and posting payments, executing bank deposits and processing credit card payments. AP responsibilities will include coordinating with our bookkeeping rep to transmit invoices and deposit records. Other responsibilities include assisting with monthly billing, answering phones and emails, ordering supplies, assisting advertising and circulation staff as needed. Were looking for someone with strong organizational, customer service and communication skills. Attention to detail is a must. Ability to work with proficiency in Word, Excel, Google docs and Quickbooks is required. Position is part-time - approx 24 hours per week. Schedule can be flexible.
