I wanted to share a heartwarming experience that took place in Chestnut Hill on Thursday, Feb. 13. While having lunch at a local Japanese restaurant, Sakura Ramen & Sushi Bar, with four friends, we enjoyed a lovely meal together. Sitting near us was a father and his teenage daughter. We were deeply moved by this unexpected kindness. In a world that often feels heavy with challenges, their thoughtful gesture was a powerful reminder of the goodness that exists all around us. To those two strangers — thank you. Your generosity and kindness have not gone unnoticed, and we hope to pay it forward.
