On Monday morning of Nov. 27, I was getting gas at the Sunoco station on Easton Road in Glenside. I was at the first pump when a car pulled up behind me at the second pump, but no one got out of the car. It seemed as if they were waiting for my pump.
I closed out my transaction and got my receipt. I went home and got an alert from my credit union that someone had tried to use my card for $126, but my credit union declined the sale.

I had used the “tap pay,” which now prompts you to enter your PIN whereas it didn’t always ask for your PIN before. I wrote to the corporate office, but they said the stations are individually owned, so they have no way of assisting. I say this for everyone to be aware when getting gas.
