Celebrate This Valentine's Season with a Blind Date Book and Book Sale!

Posted

The Friends of Chestnut Hill Library is holding its Annual Blind Date with a Book fundraiser to share our love of books and celebrate its first full year of opening Hilltop Books. The event last year marked a soft opening for the used bookstore. For a $5 donation, the Friends will set you up on a Blind Date with a Book. You select your book's genre and we do the rest. While we can't guarantee a happily ever after, we can promise no awkward small talk and that your outfit will be perfect! Set up a Blind Date with a Book for yourself or make one as a gift to another.

Orders can be picked up from Hilltop Books at 84 Bethlehem Pike during store hours through February 13. We will have a number of Blind Date Books wrapped in the bookstore. Hilltop Books now has Wednesday late night and extended weekend hours.

The Friends of Chestnut Hill Library will also be holding an Arctic Book Sale January 29 at Hilltop Books from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. during Chestnut Hill on Ice. Stop by for $5 "fill a bag" sales and see our book ice sculpture. In addition, we'll have Hilltop Books coloring sheets at the book sale to take home for a winter project for the kids.

To become a Friends member, visit our website or inquire at the bookstore.
