Cliveden House, 6401 Germantown Avenue, is open for inside-and outside-tours, by appointment. In addition, they’re offering yoga on the lawn every Saturday and the occasional free croquet game. Historic Rittenhouse Town, Lincoln Drive and Wissahickon Avenue, is a collection of colonial mills and houses, and a starting point for many hikes and bikes in the Wissahickon. There’s the Paper Trail Bike Café, where you can get a cappuccino and watch the Instar Apiaries from a safe distance, or get your bike fixed. Every second Saturday of the month there’s a Fermentation Farmers Market, dedicated to “bring people together through fermented culture and to celebrate fermented foods and beverages by featuring local artisans who make and sell items such as sauerkraut, kimchi, kombucha, mead, coffee, chocolate, bread, beer and beyond.” Vendors usually include such local names as Kismet Bagels, Upper Reach Meadery, East Coast Empanadas, and Fishtown Pickle Project.
