The following crime report is for crimes reported in Chestnut Hill and Mt. Airy for the period from Nov. 14-Nov. 20.
Chestnut Hill
Nov. 16 Aggravated assault. A complainant reported being struck in the eye by someone giving him an IV while inside of Chestnut Hill Hospital, located on the 8800 block of Germantown Avenue.
Nov. 20 Shoplifting. A complainant reported an offender leaving the Market Square Shopping Center Acme, located on the 7700 block of Crittenden Street, with two carts full of groceries that were not paid for.
Mt. Airy
Nov. 10 Theft from motor vehicle. A complainant reported his firearm being stolen out of his car, which was parked on the 200 block of West Upsal Street.
Nov. 15 Theft of motor vehicle parts. A complainant reported the catalytic converter being stolen off her car while it was parked on the 100 block of West Mt. Pleasant Avenue.
Nov. 15 Theft. A complainant reported a package being stolen from the stoop of her house, located on the 6400 block of Ross Street.
Nov. 16 Motor vehicle theft. A complainant reported their car being stolen from its parking spot on the 400 block of Glen Echo Road.
Nov. 16 Motor vehicle theft. A complainant reported her car being stolen from its parking spot on the 300 block of East Cliveden Street.
Nov. 17 Motor vehicle theft. A complainant reported her car being stolen from its parking spot on the 6400 block of Ardleigh Street.
Nov. 17 Motor vehicle theft. A complainant reported his car being stolen from its parking spot on the 1000 block of Phil Ellena Street. The complainant turned the car on before walking his dog. When he returned, the car was gone.
