The following report is for crimes reported in Chestnut Hill and Mt. Airy for the period from March 13 - 20.
Chestnut Hill
March 17 Shoplifting. A complainant reported a man stealing health care items from the CVS located on the 7700 block of Germantown Avenue.
Mt. Airy
March 11 Theft. A woman who works at Sacred Heart Manor and was told to leave her purse in the dining room of the retirement home, which is located on the 6400 block of Germantown Avenue, reported her purse missing.
March 12 Motor vehicle theft. A woman’s car disappeared from the 200 block of West Upsal Street. She believes it was towed by a construction company.
March 13 Motor vehicle theft. A woman reported her car disappearing from the 300 block of Montana Street.
March 14 Motor vehicle theft. A woman reported her car disappearing from the 6400 block of Ardleigh Street.
March 14 Motor vehicle theft. A woman reported her car disappearing from the 100 block of Meehan Avenue.
March 15 Theft. A woman’s package, which contained a television, went missing from the rear doorstep of her house, which is located on the 700 block of East Upsal Street.
March 16 Theft of motor vehicle parts. A man reported the catalytic converter being stolen from his car, which was parked on the 6900 block of Ardleigh Street.
March 17 Shoplifting. Multiple offenders stole two bottles of tequila from the wine and spirits store on the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.
March 17 Motor vehicle theft. A man reported his car disappearing from the 300 block of Pleasant Street.
March 18 Burglary. A woman reported that someone entered her home, which is located on the 500 block of West Sedgwick Street, and stole multiple items including a phone, identification and credit cards.
