The following is for crimes reported for the period from Nov. 3 to Nov. 10. (Some crimes that occurred on dates earlier than the current period but weren’t reported until later may be included.)

Oct. 26. Motor vehicle theft. A man reported that his car parked in the unit block of East Abington Avenue was missing.

Nov. 3. Theft. A woman who parked her car in the 500 block of West Willow Grove Avenue returned to find a passenger window had been smashed and a bookbag containing a MacBook, credit cards and other items was missing.

The following is for crimes reported for the period from Nov. 3 to Nov. 10. (Some crimes that occurred on dates earlier than the current period but weren’t reported until later may be included.)

Chestnut Hill

Oct. 26. Motor vehicle theft. A man reported that his car parked in the unit block of East Abington Avenue was missing.

Nov. 3. Theft. A woman who parked her car in the 500 block of West Willow Grove Avenue returned to find a passenger window had been smashed and a bookbag containing a MacBook, credit cards and other items was missing.

Nov. 3. Theft. A complainant who parked their car in a dirt lot on the unit block of West Bells Mills Rd. told police a driver side window of his black Toyota Tacoma was smashed and items of his and another complainant’s were missing including credit cards, a wallet, cash totaling $950, clothing, and identification.

Nov. 4. Shoplifting. A person exited the Acme Market in the 7700 block of Crittenden Street carrying four containers of Tide laundry detergent without paying for them.

Nov. 5. Shoplifting. An offender stole a bottle of Wine from ACME in the 7700 block of Crittenden Street.

Nov. 6. Robbery. A domestic dispute turned physical leading to a man grabbing and biting a woman's arm before stealing $70 from her in the 7700 block of Stenton Avenue. 

Nov. 7. Motor Vehicle Theft. A woman reported her car broken into and the steering column damaged in the Unit block of East Willow Grove.v

Nov. 7. Shoplifting. An unknown woman stole household items from CVS in the 7700 block of Germantown Avenue. 

Nov. 8. Motor Vehicle Theft. A man reported his Nissan Maxima stolen in the 7700 block of Crittenden Street. 

Nov. 10. Theft From Motor Vehicle. After returning from a hike, a man reported his car broken into and his wallet stolen in the 300 block of West Chestnut Hill Avenue. 

Nov. 10. Theft From Motor Vehicle. A man reported his Jeep broken into and a purse stolen in the 500 block of West Willow Grove Avenue. 

Mt. Airy

Oct. 20. Theft. A woman in the 6600 block of Chew Avenue reported that her safe containing handguns valued at $1,000 was missing after she vacated a residence for several weeks while contractors began remodeling the house.

Nov. 1. Motor vehicle theft. A woman in the 1200 block of East Cliveden Street reported that her White A3 Audi was stolen.

Nov. 3. Theft. A woman told police she parked her car in the 300 block of East Mt. Pleasant Avenue and when she returned,  an offender had entered her car and stolen credit cards, identification and $20.

Nov. 4.  Motor vehicle theft. A man in the 100 block of West Cliveden Street reported that two juveniles wearing black jackets stole his Black Hyundai Tucson.

Nov. 4. Theft. A complainant at the Mt. Airy Playground in the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue reported that his backpack containing a Chromebook and house keys was stolen while he was playing basketball.

Nov. 4. Theft. A man withdrawing $300 from the Philadelphia Federal Credit Union ATM in the 6700 block of Germantown Avenue walked away from the machine as he talked on the phone and while the money was being dispensed, a woman took the money.

Nov. 4. Motor vehicle theft.  A man who parked his car in the 200 block of West Upsal Street, returned to the location to find his Infiniti Q50 was missing.

Nov. 4. Aggravated Assault.  During an altercation between parties in the unit block of East Mt. Pleasant Avenue, officers attempted to separate the parties. An offender swung at one officer causing the officer to fall and hit his head on the pavement. Another officer injured his knee trying to subdue the offender. One officer was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center for treatment.

Nov. 6. Theft. An offender stole $1300 worth of items from a nursing home in the 6900 block of Germantown Avenue. 

Nov. 7. Shoplifting. An offender stole various items from Family Dollar in the 6500 block of Greene Street. 

Nov. 7. Motor Vehicle Theft. A man reported his motorcycle stolen in the 6900 block of Sprague Street. 

Nov. 7. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported their daughter’s Kia Sportage stolen in the 600 block of West Ellet Street. 

Nov. 7. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported their Hyundai Sonata broken into and ransacked in the 6600 block of Belfield Avenue. 

Nov. 9. Theft From Motor Vehicle. A man reported his wallet stolen from his car in the 500 block of Pelham Road.

Nov. 10. Shoplifting. A man stole chips, candy and soda from Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.

Nov. 10. Theft From Motor Vehicle. A man reported his car broken into and various items stolen in the 300 block of West Hortter Street. 

Nov. 10. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported their Ford F250 stolen in the 6400 block of Germantown Avenue.
