April 21. Burglary. A property manager at the Chestnut Hill Tower apartments in the 7600 block of Stenton Avenue reported that an offender, who was never a resident of the building, kicked in the door of an apartment and refused to leave. Police removed the offender from the apartment and transported him for processing.

Chestnut Hill
April 21. Burglary. A property manager at the Chestnut Hill Tower apartments in the 7600 block of Stenton Avenue reported that an offender, who was never a resident of the building, kicked in the door of an apartment and refused to leave. 4/21. Theft. A complainant in the unit block of Druim Moir Lane reported that a package containing a CPAP machine was stolen from his front door steps.
4/22. Shoplifting. An offender was reported to have stolen dental hygiene products from the ACME supermarket in the 7700 block of Crittenden Street but police later recovered the items and determined that they were reported stolen in error.
4/22. Motor vehicle theft. The owner of a black Dodge Ram in the 7900 block of Stenton Avenue told police he parked his car at 11:15 p.m. and by 7:56 a.m. the next day it was gone.
Mt. Airy
March 11. Theft from motor vehicle. A resident in the 300 block of Vernon Road told police that an offender broke into his vehicle and stole his Pennsylvania license tag and an antique record player, valued at $500. The complainant later began receiving tickets written on the stolen tag.
April 21. Shoplifting. Two offenders at the Wawa in the 7600 block of Germantown Ave. took snacks, candy and juice without paying for them.
April 21. Theft from motor vehicle. A woman reported that her driver’s license and debit card were missing from her vehicle in the 300 block of Montana Street after she was notified that someone tried to make an unauthorized Cash App withdrawal from her account.
April 21. Theft from motor vehicle. A complainant in the 300 block of West Upsal Street told police that $20 in cash and two laptops valued at $1,200 were stolen from her vehicle.
April 22. Motor vehicle theft. A complainant told police that their Hyundai Elantra was stolen from the unit block of East Hortter Street and only shattered glass was left behind.
April 24. Shoplifting. Offenders at the Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue reportedly stole items and fled without paying for them.
April 24. Burglary. An offender followed youngsters into their house in the 6400 block of Lensen Street, then noticed the complainant in the house, heard dogs barking and ran away.
April 25. Theft. A complainant in the 6500 block of Lincoln Drive told police that a known offender repeatedly has been trying to take items off his property and when he tried it this time, the complainant detained him until police arrived.
April 25. Theft. A complainant in the 6500 block of Lincoln Drive told police that an offender stole a “Free Palestine” sign from the front of his residence.
April 26. Aggravated Assault. A complainant in the unit block of East Mt. Pleasant Ave. told police that a neighbor threw bleach water on him, an action prompted by an ongoing dispute. The complainant was transported by medics for treatment of a reported burning sensation on his back.
April 27. Shoplifting. Offenders at the Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue reportedly took snacks valued at about $40 and left without paying for them.
April 27. Theft of motor vehicle parts. A man told police he was notified during an out of the city traffic stop that the tag of his vehicle was missing.
April 27. Aggravated Assault. A woman in the 200 block of Slocum Street told police that she and the offender got into a verbal dispute over the custody of their children and when she opened the door to leave the car, the offender began driving, causing the woman to fall on the highway and strike her face on the ground. The woman was transported to Chestnut Hill Hospital where she was treated.
