The following is for crimes reported from June 8-15.  (Some crimes that occurred on dates earlier than the current period but weren’t reported until later may be included.)

Chestnut Hill

June 8. Shoplifting. An offender stole various items from CVS in the 7700 block of Germantown Avenue. 

June 9. Theft From Motor Vehicle. A woman reported her driver's license and credit card stolen from her car in the 8000 block of Seminole Avenue.

June 13. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported their Infiniti FX 35 stolen in the 200 block of East Willow Grove Avenue.

June 15. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported his car stolen in the 7800 block of Germantown Avenue.

Mt. Airy

May 26. Theft. A man reported that a home health aide stole pills and rings from his sister's apartment in the 100 block of West Gorgas Lane. 

June 6. Motor vehicle theft. A woman reported her Kia RIO stolen in the 7200 block of Howard Terrace. 

June 7. Theft From Motor Vehicle. A complainant reported an unknown person stealing various items from their car in the 200 block of West Upsal Street.

June 8. Shoplifting. An offender stole $1,300 worth of various items from CVS in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive. 

June 8. Motor Vehicle Theft. A man reported his Honda Civic stolen in the 100 block of East Upsal Street. 

June 8. Shoplifting. An offender stole dental hygiene products from CVS in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive. 

June 8. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported their Hyundai Elantra stolen at the corner of East Phil Ellena Street and Sprague Street. 

June 8. Motor Vehicle Theft. A woman reported her Hyundai Elantra stolen in the 100 block of West Durham Street. 

June 10. Robbery/Weapons Law Violations. An offender armed with a handgun robbed a USPS worker in the 7400 block of Boyer Street.

June 10. Motor Vehicle Theft. A woman reported her car broken into and the steering column damaged in the 100 block of East Phil Ellena Street.

June 10. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported their car broken into and the steering column damaged in the 7200 block of Ardleigh Street. 

June 11. Shoplifting. A man stole various food items from Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue. 

June 11. Theft. A woman reported that, after hiring movers, a box of music records was stolen from her home in the 200 block of East Cliveden Street.

June 11. Theft. A complainant reported a firearm stolen from his deceased cousin’s home in the 1100 block of East Phil Ellena Street. 

June 12. Shoplifting. A man stole Ensure shakes from CVS in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.

June 12. Theft From Motor Vehicle. A woman stole her Uber driver’s cellphone in the 6500 block of Chew Avenue. 

June 13. Shoplifting. An offender was arrested for stealing groceries at ACME in the 7700 block of Crittenden Street.

June 14. Shoplifting. An offender was arrested for stealing various items at the CVS located in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.

June 14. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported that multiple offenders tried to steal their vehicle in the 6400 block of Clearview Street.

June 14. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant stated that unknown men stole unknown items from their vehicle in the 800 block of Dorset Street.

June 15. Motor Vehicle Destruction. A complainant reported her vehicle broken into at the intersection of McCallum Street and Westview Avenue.

June 15. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported his car stolen in the 700 block of Vernon Road.

June 15. Motor Vehicle Theft. A complainant reported a car stolen in the 600 block of Wadsworth Avenue. The vehicle was last seen on Stenton Avenue.
