Chestnut Hill
Aug. 18. Motor vehicle theft. A complainant reported their vehicle was missing on the 7700 block of Stenton Avenue.
Aug. 20. Aggravated assault. A woman stated her child’s father punched her in the stomach, pulled her hair, choked her, and threatened her and her son on the 7700 block of Stenton Avenue.
Aug. 21. Shoplifting. A male offender left with items in his cart and then moved the items to another cart when the first one locked at the ACME on the 7000 block of Crittenden Street.
Aug. 21. Aggravated assault. A complainant stated he was shot by crossfire in his left leg in an unknown location and was brought to Chestnut Hill Hospital on the 8800 block of Germantown Avenue.
Aug. 21. Shoplifting. An offender picked up about $50 worth of care products and left without paying at the CVS on the 7700 block of Germantown Avenue.
Aug. 22. Theft. A complainant reported a package containing a television was delivered but someone stole it on the 7800 block of Germantown Avenue.
Aug. 24. Shoplifting. An offender took about $350 worth of household goods and drove off with another suspect from the ACME on the 7000 block of Crittenden Street.
Mt. Airy
Aug. 9. Theft. A complainant reported she saw a male offender take a package from her apartment’s mailroom on the 6600 block of McCallum Street.
Aug. 18. Motor vehicle theft. A man reported the right rear window of his vehicle was broken and his laptop, tool bag, and $3,500 were stolen on the 7200 block of Ardleigh Street.
Aug. 18. Simple Assault. A woman reported her boyfriend hit her in the face and arms with his fist and hit her in the legs with an umbrella on the 1000 block of Cliveden Street.
Aug. 18. Intimidation/Threats and theft. Police arrested a man who threatened he was going to kill the manager of Grocery Outlet Bargain Market and then grabbed a rug, tried to hit the manager several times, and passed all points of sale without paying on the unit block of W. Hortter Street.
Aug. 19. Shoplifting. A man was arrested after putting items in the scan line but not paying at the Wawa on the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.
Aug. 19. Shoplifting. An offender was arrested after leaving with a hoagie, salad, and gallon of juice without paying at the ACME on the 7000 block of Germantown Avenue.
Aug. 20. Shoplifting. A suspect took chips, Snickers, and ice cream from the Wawa on the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.
Aug. 20. Theft. A woman reported a man stole her Samsung Galaxy cellphone on the 6500 block of Greene Street.
Aug. 20. Shoplifting. A witness reported seeing a suspect grab two Tide detergents, place them in a black bag, and leave without paying at the Grocery Outlet Bargain Market on the unit block of W. Hortter Street.
Aug. 20. Theft of motor vehicle parts or accessories. A man reported his vehicle’s tag was missing on the unit block of E. Johnson Street.
Aug. 21. Shoplifting. An offender was arrested after taking food items without paying at the Wawa on the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.
Aug. 21. Shoplifting. An offender took about $20 worth of food items without paying at the Wawa on the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.
Aug. 22. Theft. A complainant reported two bikes stolen from the common area of a condominium on the unit block of Nippon Street.
Aug. 23. Shoplifting. An offender took about $25 worth of food items without paying at the Wawa on the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.
Aug. 24. Shoplifting. A man took 20-30 Red Bull energy drinks valued at $80 and fled without paying at the Wawa on the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.
Aug. 24. Shoplifting. Multiple suspects filled their bags with candy and then left on foot without paying from the Wawa on the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.
