Aug. 24. Theft from motor vehicle. A man left his car door ajar and later found it ransacked in the 8700 block of Prospect Avenue.

Aug. 25. Shoplifting. An offender stole various items from CVS in the 7700 block of Germantown Avenue.

Aug. 26. Shoplifting. An offender stole toilet paper from CVS in the 7700 block of Germantown Avenue.

Aug. 26. Aggravated assault. An offender struck a man with a guitar in the 8400 block of Germantown Avenue.

Aug. 28. Shoplifting. An offender stole a bottle of liquor from ACME in the 7700 block of Crittenden Street.

Mt. Airy

Aug. 22. Motor vehicle theft. A man reported his Honda CRV stolen in the 7400 block of Boyer Street.

Aug. 25. Aggravated assault. An offender threatened to shoot the complainant after they asked for stolen items back in the Unit block of West Hortter Street.

Aug. 25. Burglary. A man forced open a door and stole a television from an apartment in the 6600 block of Germantown Avenue.

Aug. 26. Shoplifting. An offender stole snacks from Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.

Aug. 26. Theft. A woman reported her credit card stolen from her bag in the 7100 block of Germantown Avenue.

Aug. 26. Shoplifting. An offender stole items from CVS in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.

Aug. 26. Shoplifting. An offender stole beef sticks from Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.

Aug. 26. Carjacking. A complainant reported being carjacked by two men in the 400 block of East Sharpnack Street.

Aug. 27. Simple assault. An offender sprayed a woman with an unknown substance in the 6600 block of Germantown Avenue.

Aug. 27. Motor vehicle theft. Parked vehicle reported stolen overnight in the 400 block of Wadsworth Avenue.

Aug. 27. Robbery. A woman was threatened with what she believed to be a gun and robbed of her purse in the 100 block of Hortter Street.

Aug. 28. Shoplifting. An offender stole various food items from Wawa in the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.

Aug. 29. Shoplifting. An offender stole various items from Grocery Outlet Bargain Market in the 100 block of Hortter Street.

Aug. 29. Shoplifting. An offender stole various items from CVS in the 7000 block of Lincoln Drive.

Aug. 30. Simple assault. A man reported being struck in the face by a glass bottle during an altercation in the 6600 block of Germantown Avenue.

Aug. 31. Aggravated assault. An offender armed with a gun threatened to kill a man walking his dog in the 6400 block of Boyer Street.

Aug. 31. Weapon law violation. A man fired multiple shots at a group waiting to fight his girlfriend in the 200 block of West Sedgewick Street.

Aug. 31. Motor vehicle theft. A man reported his parked vehicle stolen overnight in the 400 block of Sharpnack Street.
