Chestnut Hill
Aug. 18. Theft of motor vehicle parts or accessories. A complainant reported that someone stole her motor vehicle tag on the 100 block of West Meade Street.
Sept. 15. Shoplifting. An offender stole Red Bull, chicken, seafood, and other groceries totaling $250 from the ACME on the 7700 block of Crittenden Street.
Sept. 16. Destruction of property and theft from motor vehicle. A complainant reported noticing her car’s passenger window and rear passenger window were smashed and her electric bike was taken out of the car on the 7600 block of Stenton Avenue.
Sept. 16. Aggravated assault, theft from motor vehicle, burglary. A man stole a lawn mower but a complainant was able to get it back prior to police arrival on the 8800 block of Crefeld Street. Then, the offender forced himself into an unoccupied vehicle and took medical equipment in the car on the 8800 block of Crefeld Street. He was arrested after trying to force himself into a private residence, spitting on the complainant, and trying to throw a rock at him but missing after the complainant went outside on the unit block of Laughlin Lane.
Sept. 16. Destruction of property and theft from motor vehicle. A complainant noticed her driver side window was smashed and $10 was taken from her vehicle on the 7600 block of Stenton Avenue.
Sept. 18. Shoplifting. An offender stole oral hygiene items from the CVS on the 7700 block of Germantown Avenue.
Sept. 21. Shoplifting. An offender stole various items totaling $110.68 from the ACME on the 7700 block of Crittenden Street.
Mt. Airy
Sept. 13. Theft. A complainant reported that two of her wedding bands were missing from her dresser after having a gathering in her home the night before on the unit block of Good Street.
Sept. 15. Theft from motor vehicle. A complainant reported three of his vehicles were broken into and a battery pack was stolen on the 6900 block of Lincoln Drive.
Sept. 15. Shoplifting. An offender took various candies, snacks, and ramen noodles totaling $78.16 from the Wawa on the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.
Sept. 15. Motor vehicle theft. A neighbor saw a man steal a complainant’s rental vehicle on the 7000 block of Greene Street.
Sept. 15. Motor vehicle theft. A complainant stated his neighbor knocked on his door and alerted him that someone entered his vehicle via the sunroof on the 800 block of East Hortter Street.
Sept. 16. Theft and destruction of property. A complainant said their television was broken and tools were stolen in an ongoing dispute with their brother on the 500 block of Vernon Road.
Sept. 16. Shoplifting. An offender came into a Wawa, causing a disturbance and grabbing items before running out of the store on the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.
Sept. 16. Theft of motor vehicle parts or accessories. A complainant reported her license plate stolen from her car on the 6400 block of Cherokee Street.
Sept. 16. Burglary. A complainant was notified via a Ring camera that an offender left the building of her business with two bags full of a printer, gift cards, a passport, a Social Security card, a birth certificate, and more on the 6700 block of Germantown Avenue.
Sept. 16. Motor vehicle theft. A complainant woke up to find his vehicle was no longer in front of the house on the 400 block of Montana Street.
Sept. 17. Motor vehicle theft. A complainant came out of her work to find her car missing on the 7300 block of Stenton Avenue.
Sept. 17 Motor vehicle theft. A complainant discovered her car was no longer where she parked it on the 100 block of West Sharpnack Street.
Sept. 17. Shoplifting. A group of male offenders stole items without attempting to pay and fled in an unknown direction from the Wawa on the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.
Sept. 18 Motor vehicle theft. An unknown male offender was seen on camera stealing a complainant’s vehicle on the 200 block of West Upsal Street.
Sept. 19. Motor vehicle theft. A complainant visited a friend’s apartment and returned to find their vehicle stolen on the 200 block of West Upsal Street.
Sept. 19. Motor vehicle theft. A complainant reported that her vehicle was stolen on the 7200 block of Charlton Street.
Sept. 20. Shoplifting. An offender stole tequila totaling $62.39 from the Fine Wine and Good Spirits on the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.
Sept. 20. Theft from motor vehicle. A complainant found her front passenger window broken and multiple items — including a wallet with credit cards, a Social Security card and Gucci glasses — missing on the 200 block of West Upsal Street.
Sept. 21. Shoplifting. A suspect walked into Wawa and took coffee and cakes without paying on the 7200 block of Germantown Avenue.
Sept. 21. Theft from motor vehicle. A complainant reported his insurance card and registration stolen from his vehicle on the 7000 block of Boyer Street.
Sept. 21. Theft from motor vehicle. A complainant reported her wallet containing her identification and debit and credit cards missing from her vehicle on the 500 block of West Mt. Pleasant Avenue.
Sept. 21. Theft from motor vehicle. A complainant reported that an offender went inside her unlocked vehicle and took clothing on the 6400 block of Matthews Street.
Sept. 21. Theft from motor vehicle. A complainant stated his gym bag — containing his city-issued laptop and SEPTA Key card — was taken from his vehicle on the 1200 block of Yerkes Street.
Sept. 21. Motor vehicle theft. A complainant reported that his Ring doorbell camera captured an offender entering and taking his vehicle on the 7100 block of Boyer Street.
