The art of Andy Katz, who has spent much of his career capturing the legends of hip hop, including Phife Dawg (above), of A Tribe Called Quest, will be part of “Electric Relaxation,” an exhibit also featuring designer Chanae Richards and artist Ricky Watts at NoName Gallery in Chestnut Hill through April 27. In its celebration of rhythm, color, and storytelling, “the show encourages the viewer to embrace the concept of relaxation. Viewers should ”slow down, tune into the vibe, and experience the balance between creative expression and the simple beauty of taking it easy.” An opening reception will be 5 to 8 p.m., March 7, during Chestnut Hill’s Arts & Eats First Friday event.
