The 14-page report details Evans' accomplishments in his role representing Pennsylvania's 3rd Congressional District, which includes Northwest and West Philadelphia and portions of North, South, Southwest and Center City Philadelphia.
The $4.5 million returned to constituents last year came from cases involving federal agencies including the IRS, Social Security Administration and Department of Veterans Affairs. This brings Evans' eight-year total to more than $45.5 million returned to or saved for constituents since taking office.
The report highlights the $13.3 million in federal funding Evans secured for 15 Philadelphia community projects, with more than $8.2 million allocated specifically for affordable housing initiatives.
Evans also noted several multi-million-dollar federal grants for Philadelphia stemming from the Biden Infrastructure and Jobs Act, including $29.7 million to improve pedestrian safety across the city, particularly near schools.
"Despite the challenges of narrow but total Republican control of Washington, my commitments and priorities remain unwavering," Evans said. "I will continue working to help Philadelphians have affordable housing, quality school buildings, and safety."
Evans serves on the House Ways and Means Committee, including its Subcommittee on Health, which oversees taxes, trade, Social Security and Medicare.
