A fatal crash involving a stolen car left a 15-year-old dead and multiple others injured early Monday in Springfield Township, authorities said.
The collision occurred at 4:51 a.m. at the intersection of Stenton and E. Evergreen avenues when a 2020 Hyundai Elantra ran a red light and struck a 2014 Infiniti QX80, according to Springfield Township police.

A fatal crash involving a stolen car left a 15-year-old dead and multiple others injured early Monday in Springfield Township, authorities said.
The collision occurred at 4:51 a.m. at the intersection of Stenton and E. Evergreen avenues when a 2020 Hyundai Elantra ran a red light and struck a 2014 Infiniti QX80, according to Springfield Township police.
A teenage passenger was ejected from one vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Two other passengers were extricated and transported to Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital. A passenger from the second vehicle was taken to Jefferson Abington Hospital.
Police said the Hyundai had been reported stolen in Philadelphia on July 27.
Multiple agencies responded, including fire and EMS crews from Wyndmoor, Ambler, and surrounding townships. The Montgomery County Coroner's Office also assisted.
The crash remains under investigation. Witnesses are asked to contact Springfield Township police at 215-836-1601.
Authorities have not released the identities of those involved or provided information on the conditions of the injured passengers.
