Francis W. Peszka, Jr., (“Frank,” “Skip”) of Erdenheim, PA passed away at the age of 83 on February 15, 2025, in the comfort of his home
with his beloved wife, Carol (Gunther) by his side, as he wished. High school sweethearts, Frank and Carol were married for over 62 wonderful years. In addition to Carol, Frank is survived by his loving children and their spouses:
Laura and Scott Gibble, Christopher and Valerie Peszka, Andrew and Sharon Peszka, Stephanie and Jonathan Goodell; grandchildren, Sarah and Alex Walton, Melissa Gibble, Matthew Peszka, Michelle Gibble, Aimee Goodell; step-grandchild, Tiffany Bair; sister-in-law, Sr. Francine Gunther, SHCJ, and many other family members, friends and colleagues who will miss him dearly.
Born in Philadelphia on September 22, 1941, Frank was a proud graduate
of Roman Catholic High School and Drexel University. With a degree in
Mechanical Engineering, Frank dedicated over 50 years to achieving and main-
taining the quality of products and services for companies serving the nuclear
power, aerospace, and commercial industries, most recently as Director of
Frank was an avid fisherman who loved spending countless hours in the
waters off Brigantine NJ bringing home flounder, weakfish, bluefish, stripers,
and crabs. He also loved the Phillies and the Eagles and was so excited to
watch the Eagles win Super Bowl LIX.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 22,
2025, at 10:00am at St. Genevieve Church, 1225 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown,
PA 19031 with visitation from 9:00 – 10:00am. Interment will follow at Holy
Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 West Cheltenham Ave, Philadelphia 19150.
