Posted

Glen Foerd will be presenting “The Poison Garden,” on October 22, 24, 25, and 26, from 7 to 9 p.m., an event that will feature actors, circus artists, and aerialists in an immersive experience. Spread through the Glen Foerd estate’s 18-acre public park and historic site located along the Delaware River, they describe it as “A mysterious garden with a deadly purpose takes root this Halloween throughout the grounds and halls of Glen Foerd.”

The show is designed and performed by Alterra Productions,

Built in 1850 and enlarged in 1902-03, the Glen Foerd estate was saved from potential development through the activism of neighbors in 1983. Today, it is one of the only cultural sites located in Northeast Philadelphia and offers diverse programs for all ages “to engage with the arts and the environment.”
