Letter: A Roe v. Wade repeal offers hope

Posted

Trust the Chestnut Hill Local to sing the praises of Roe v. Wade —“Local lawyer at center of abortion rights fight” (Local, May 12, 2022).  The Local’s paean to abortion did not do justice to the complexity of the issues. Surely, first of all, there is the unconscionable “leak” of Supreme Court material by one of the clerks of the court — a flagrant breach of honor and integrity that should be severely punished. Secondly, the repeal of Roe v. Wade does not mean the end of abortion. The issue is to be decided by the states — which is where it should have remained all along.

In other words, it’s called the Constitution and representative government. The repeal of Roe v. Wade offers the people of this nation a hope that we may begin the arduous process of reclaiming representative government from the soulless elites who have stolen it from us.

America has become a brutal and heartless nation, largely because of the murder of 63 million unborn children. But trust the Chestnut Hill Local to go along with all of it. The Chestnut Hill Local is a propaganda organ, not a paper, and it does not serve the community it proudly displays on its masthead.
