They are huge and are certainly capable of doing damage to one’s automobile. When I wrote before, I mentioned one particular problem at the intersection of Bethlehem Pike, Stenton Avenue and Papermill Road. Positioned right in the middle of the intersection were some monster holes that I made my best efforts to avoid. Unfortunately, they are now worse.
I never see any Streets Department trucks around filling these holes. Is it such a low priority to the city and to Montgomery County that it keeps getting postponed over and over again? It’s incredibly frustrating! I can only hope that the right person reads this and decides to finally do something about the area’s pothole problem.
