William Dejoy was appointed Postmaster General of the USPS in May 2020 and has made changes to the USPS causing serious delays and hardships for citizens. My mail order medication was delayed twice forcing my insurance company to pay for overnight shipping to ensure I had my 90-day medication supply. This at a time when people are enduring the ongoing terrible stress from Covid19
Can I no longer trust the postal system to deliver my medication on time? In my entire life I never asked that question about the USPS. I blame DeJoy. He apparently does not know or believe in the mission of the USPS which is, "to provide the nation with reliable, affordable, and universal mail service." The United States citizens deserve a Postmaster General who is dedicated to following the mission of the United States postal system and, if necessary, reforming it in a manner that helps citizens not hurt them.
Contact your congressperson to let them know how you feel about DeJoy.
