Louise D. Lawson, of Brittany Pointe Estates, formerly of Flourtown, PA and Long Beach Island, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children, January 7, 2022 age 97 years. She is predeceased by her husband, David J. Lawson Jr. She is survived by her devoted children: Linda Corey (Robert), David M. Lawson (Julie), Wendy Clinton, and step son David J. Lawson III (Barbara), grandchildren: Courtney, Kelly, Brooke and Erin, step grandchildren Susan and Karen, great grandchildren Lawson and Maren, and step great grandchildren Katie and Allison.

Louise is also survived by her sister in law, Sandra Derr and nieces and nephews Karen Myers and Scott Derr. She is predeceased by her sister, Betty Rothenbach and brother  William Derr.

Louise was born in Philadelphia and graduated from Germantown High School Class of 1942. She was a kind, warm and loving mother and wife.In the College Ave neighborhood of Flourtown, she was active in the PTA, assisted her husband’s dental practice and was a member of the St Thomas Church in White Marsh. She and her husband David had many friends and loved to entertain friends and neighbors. In her later years living in Long Beach Island, Louise worked for many years at the Sink or Swim retail store and was very active in the LBI gardening club. “Class, Grace, Charm, Good Manners, Humor, Spirit, Courage, Loyalty, Patience, Honor and Dedication are just a few of Louise’s attributes. Her most enduring lesson is love for others”. She will be missed by all who love her. 

Due to concerns about the Covid pandemic, Funeral arrangements are  Private at the convenience of the family, and have been entrusted to Kirk and Nice Funeral Home, Plymouth Meeting.
