Neighbors can dine at communal tables set up in the street along the 7100 and 7200 blocks of Germantown from 5 to 9 p.m. in the event presented by the Mt. Airy Community Development Corporation. The rain date is July 17.
Visiting food trucks and vendors along with neighborhood eateries will offer diverse fare including lobster rolls, funnel cakes, Italian rice balls and Korean tacos. There’ll be games, face painting and balloon twisting for the kids, and local organizations and businesses will share information, resources and merchandise.
Traffic will be diverted from the festival location and parking is available in the lot behind the Sedgwick Theater with entry on Chew Avenue, between East Durham Street and East Mt. Airy Avenue.
The remaining Supper Sessions are scheduled for 5 to 9 p.m., Aug. 13 and Sept. 4.
