Peter Bolger O'Connor, 56, died suddenly on March 17 in Plymouth Meeting, PA.
 
    A graduate of Norwood Academy, Bishop McDevitt High School and former Navy reservist, Peter was known for his compassion, empathy, and love for all living things. His true calling was connecting with people and  understanding and fulfilling their needs. With these natural gifts and a voracious appetite for reading history, Peter traveled the world increasing his professional skills and empathy for humankind while working in Ireland, Mexico, Vietnam, Hungary and the Czech Republic. He eventually settled down again in his beloved neighborhoods of Mt Airy and Chestnut Hill in Northwest Philadelphia. 
 
     Peter's technical acuity was as varied as his travels.  He held sales and fulfillment roles in foreign country business journals, technical support sales, pianos, and even end-of-life services. 
 
   Peter had been married to Jana Staub with whom he continued to co-parent their son, and the light of Peter's life, Jack O'Connor, 15.   Peter loved his son with all his might along with his nieces and nephew Danny, Katie, Reagan, Ryan and Grace. 
 
   Peter was predeceased by his father Dick O'Connor who passed in 2005. In addition to son Jack and his nieces and nephew, Peter is survived by his mother, Carol, also of Plymouth Meeting, PA, and brothers Stephen of Athens, Georgia, and John and his wife Lori of Charlottesville, Virginia.    (continued below)
