Priorities for Biden: Climate change and healing

Posted

When Joe Biden takes office his very first action should be to rejoin the Paris Climate Agreement.

His second action should be to implement a plan to heal the divisions in the electorate between Democrats and Republicans (including Trump supporters) by better understanding why we are so apart and what can be done to overcome this impasse.

This effort will take time and must include meetings in every state, where differences and aspirations can get aired out. Biden and his team also need to meet with elected officials at all levels of government—federal, state and local — to discuss how we can heal the country.
