Happy Hollow is Philadelphia's oldest recreation center and has produced several NBA players including Jerome Allen, who formerly coached at the University of Pennsylvania and is now an assistant coach with the Detroit Pistons.
The grant comes from the Multi-Purpose Community Facilities Program, funded by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
