Robert F. Kennedy Jr., our new Secretary of Health and Human Services, recently declared, “In September, we will know what has caused the autism epidemic.” He claims he will solve one of the most challenging mysteries that brilliant scientists and researchers around the world have tried to unlock.
Scientists, however, are not holding their breath until September waiting for RFK's miracle. In fact, the Autism Society of America called Kennedy's statement “harmful, misleading, and unrealistic." According to the large majority of experts, RFK Jr. is never going to be able to find the miracle “cure” for autism, let alone by September.
For years, RFK has also promoted the debunked theory that autism is linked to vaccines. But the Centers for Disease Control says many studies looked at this and to date the studies show there is no link associating the cause of autism with vaccines.
RFK also recently said "autism destroys families." That is a cruel and misinformed statement. RFK Jr. is dangerous and needs to be stopped. Please call U.S. Senators Fetterman and McCormick to demand that they tell RFK Jr. to cease and desist with his damaging, hurtful and false claims.
