The Chestnut Hill Conservancy and Night Kitchen Bakery are co-hosting a fundraiser on Nov. 2 that will benefit two worthy causes.
Beef, Beer & Baked Goods at the Venetian Club in Chestnut Hill will raise funds for Hiram Lodge #81 and Chef Angela Jarmon, of Night Kitchen. The event is scheduled for 6 p.m.
Chef Angela, who has worked at Night Kitchen for three years, recently was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. The illness has forced her to take time off from her job at the bakery.
Earlier this year, the lodge was severely damaged by a fire caused by faulty electrical wiring. The lodge plans to rebuild and the community has joined them in efforts to stabilize the 1889 landmark.
Tickets are $55 and are limited. They are $55 and are available for purchase at chconservancy.ticketleap.com. The Venetian Club is at 8030 Germantown Ave.
