Teenagers Inc. a local nonprofit based in Chestnut Hill, is geared toward middle and high school students. Our program provides opportunities for the young people in our community to come together from all over the Northwest section of the City and surrounding areas, and unite them in service both local and international, as well as create outlets for recreational activities through our Teen Center by hosting various activities.
Our first event for 2015 will be our incredible service day with Face to Face for Martin Luther King Day of Service. While we are at Face to Face we will be continuing to organize their supply room, coat room, and making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to give to the clients that come through the doors for MLK Day Lunch. If you are looking for a fun project to be a part of join us at Face to Face 109 E. Price St. in Germantown for our fun filled day of service.
In addition to this amazing service project. We have started our information sessions for Guatemala, Our next one is Thursday, Jan. 22 at 7:30 p.m. at our Teen Center located at 105 Bethlehem Pike in Chestnut Hill. This will be our seventh year going to Antigua, Guatemala, this trip is geared toward our high school population to give them the trip of a lifetime, complete with house-building, working with children, and working with the homeless in Guatemala.
February brings a fun Ski Trip for the day. Join Teenagers, Inc. as we take on the slopes on Saturday, Feb. 21 at Blue Mountain Ski Resort. We will be gathering at the Teen Center at 8 a.m. and returning home at 3 p.m. If you are interested in going on the trip, a $50 deposit and reservation is needed by February 1.
