One of the best things about living in Northwest Philadelphia is that there’s always something fun to do. And we’re highlighting that fact with our new local calendar.

Turn to pages 16 and 17 of this week’s paper and you’ll find our first effort – listings for events you may not see promoted elsewhere. Whether that’s pizza making for kids or an amateur opera production on the riverfront, we’re aiming to highlight something of interest for readers of all ages. We plan to uncover activities that can not only entertain you and your family but also help you get to know your own neighborhood better. 

And we’re asking for your help. If you have an event coming up that we should list, or if you just happen to hear about something you think your neighbors would enjoy, please let us know. Sharing such tips helps all of us to experience the best our community has to offer.
