Abigail Robinson Galli, lovingly known as Gail and Nanny, passed away peacefully at home on June 22, 2026, at the age of 90, surrounded by her family.

Born in Chestnut Hill, Pennsylvania, Gail was the daughter of Wolcott deWilloughby Robinson and Elizabeth Mulford Robinson. She moved to Lafayette, California in 1959, where she spent the next 67 years building a life centered on family and friendship.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Wolcott deW. Robinson Jr. She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years and best pal, Robert Raymond Galli; her children, William Wheeler, Elizabeth Morris, Jeffrey Galli (Marni), and Jill Galli;
her grandchildren, Abigail Morris, Alyssa Ginn (Matt), Christopher Frambes-Wheeler (Esther); her great-grandchildren, Audrey Ginn, Christopher Frambes-Wheeler, and Charlotte Frambes-Wheeler; her great-niece, Theresa Jazayeri, and great-nephew, Andrew Bellagamba; and countless extended family members and lifelong friends from Pennsylvania to California.

Gail welcomed everyone with a warm smile. Her home and her heart were always open and filled with love and laughter. Her table was always full, and she turned any meal into a festive gathering. Gail was the first to celebrate life's happy moments and the first to
show up during the difficult ones. She never missed an opportunity to support the people she loved and she had a remarkable way of making everyone feel like family. Nanny will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
