In 1982 for the Chestnut Hill Conservancy, Nancy Hubby and I raised the funds needed and supervised the restoration of the Gravers Lane Station. In an extraordinary situation we were given complete supervision of the work. We completed the porch restoration and the painting and pointing. I add here that we were able to raise additional funds to go far beyond bringing back only the porch.
