The musical by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar is based on the “The Little Prince” by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, one of the best-selling books in history.
The story begins when a world-weary aviator, stranded after a plane crash, encounters a mysterious boy in the Sahara Desert. The two embark on an intergalactic adventure in a production that considers themes such as loneliness, friendship and loss.

Special performances include a student preview on Thursday, Dec. 7, opening night on Friday, Dec. 8, and a special post-show discussion with composer Rick Cummins on Dec. 14.
