The annual Manayunk Arts Festival, known as the tri-state’s largest outdoor juried arts festival, returns to Main Street for its 37th year on Saturday, June 27, and Sunday, June 28.
About 300 local and nationally known artists and crafters will be on hand to display their wares. More than 100,000 collectors, buyers, browsers and designers are expected to visit for this event. In addition to art and crafts, visitors will enjoy food and drink from a variety of vendors, together with merchant specials, live art demonstrations and more.
The festival is a no-charge event open to the public and will feature artists from disciplines including fiber, glass, ceramics, jewelry, mixed media, painting and drawing, photography, and wood and sculpture. Visitors can also enjoy food and beverages from Manayunk’s many restaurants and cool off by shopping at the district’s unique boutiques and stores.
This year, 30 emerging artists will be featured on Grape Street, a side street just off Main Street, which will be closed to create a dedicated emerging-artist area.
New this year: The Arts Loop. The loop will allow festival-goers to walk down Main Street from one end and get picked up at the other to ride back to their cars. Riders can park for no charge at complimentary shuttle parking at 555 City Ave. at Presidential Boulevard in Bala Cynwyd, and Ivy Ridge Train Station on Umbria Street.
Arts Loop Stops:
