For more than 75 years, the Chestnut Hill Community Association has fostered our sense of community and worked tirelessly to improve our quality of life. It is largely through the efforts of CHCA’s small staff and committed volunteers who organize events and spearhead initiatives that the quality of our neighborhood is preserved and celebrated, creating a community we all cherish.
The tie that binds us together and tells our stories is the Chestnut Hill Local. For over 65 years, the pages of our newspaper – and now its website – are where we learn about the issues and people that are important to us. The Local delivers reliable and responsible journalism while highlighting the wide and varied accomplishments of our neighbors.
Following in the footsteps of our predecessors, we have a duty to ensure our hometown neighborhood continues to thrive now and into the future.
