Children and adults should come dressed and ready to move. No yoga experience is required. The class is led by Maria Eble, a certified yoga teacher and retired math teacher who for more than a decade has been practicing and instructing yoga, including at the library.
“I’m doing all of the same stuff we’re doing in my adult classes, I’m just bringing it to a level where kids are having fun with it,” Eble recently told the Local.
The library, located at 8711 Germantown Ave., advises that it will be closed, along with all other Free Library branches, on Monday, Feb. 16, in observance of Presidents’ Day. There also will be a high likelihood of an early closure of city departments at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb.13. The library advises patrons to check the branch website ahead of visits in case of any unexpected changes in schedule, libwww.freelibrary.org/locations/chestnut-hill-library.
