Charles John Hobe was born on December 24, 1949 and died at his home in Kentucky on March 10, 2022. He is survived by his children , Charles Von Hobe, Annia Hobe, Jacquee Newman (Steve) and their children Katie, Nathan and Max.
he is predeceased by his parents Marion and Charles. He will be greatly missed by his former spouse , Margaret Hobe and his 5 siblings.
He was a resident of Philadelphia for most of his adult life, attending University of Pennsylvania and operating John Hobe Antique Restoration for almost 50 years. He was a very skilled craftsman and artist and many of his pieces can be found all around the Philadelphia area and beyond. He lived a life with many passions, the greatest of which was his children. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
